Individuality Map Assignment
Students will use their creative ability to construct Individuality Maps and will share their Individuality Maps with a small group.
1. Students will create their own Individuality Map to describe themselves through art and language. (students can use poster and paper or technology). 2. Students will pick 5-10 things that they would not be able to live without and incorporate them onto their Individuality Map. 3. Students will get into groups of four and share their Individuality Maps. 4. Students will work in groups to define the word Community and create a poster to express their idea. 5. Students will share their posters with the class. |

How does it represent what is happening in the first chapter? 4) On Back: Answer the following questions: What do you think it means to be released? Why do you think it is happening? List 10 clues that Jonas' community is different from ours. |
